Special environmental conditions, e.g. outdoors, in humid or cold zones, require an enclosure that provides the necessary protection for your charger and ensures continuous operation of the vehicle fleet.
In addition, the optional installation of a heater and condensation monitor enables the chargers to operate in a wide temperature range from -20 to +40°Celsius. Equipped accordingly, our highly efficient powertron charging systems can be used, for example, for decentralized charging in cold stores.

Charging station management and optimized battery life

The NBS Dynamic can manage more than 250 different battery groups. powertron chargers with multivoltage option automatically assign themselves to the correct NBS group without user intervention.

Next Battery Selector Dynamic

In multi-shift operations, the frequency of use of individual drive batteries varies significantly. Batteries in the rear cargo area are typically used less frequently. As a result, the number of charge/discharge cycles for individual batteries gradually deviates greatly from one another.

During each charging and discharging process, the battery temperature increases. Without sufficient cooling intervals, there is a risk of elevated battery temperatures, significantly reducing the service life of the drive batteries.
Uniform usage of all batteries would reduce the temperature rise, as distributed break times for all batteries lead to battery cooling. However, achieving uniform frequency of use is only possible if the sequence of use is prescribed to the drivers across shifts.

This task is performed by the Next Battery Selector Dynamic.
Especially in large charging stations, visibility is significantly improved, and errors in selecting the correct battery are avoided.

The NBS ports on the powertron chargers enable simple networking of the chargers with each other using patch cables (RJ45). This connection is significantly more stable and less susceptible to interference than radio connections and is still quick and easy to set up.

If you need additional charging stations, expanding the NBS Dynamic is straightforward. Simply connect the new powertron charger to the existing structure using a patch cable. Since each powertron (with the NBS option) has two RJ45 ports (input/output), easy expansion, even between two chargers, is possible.
As batteries of different voltages are also assigned to different NBS groups, powertron chargers with the Multivoltage option automatically join the correct group.

The display of the next battery to be used is possible via a mobile terminal or a large screen in the charging compartment. At the same time, the monitoring option provides a perfect overview of the current performance of your charging station.
The signal lamp and charging plug are clearly visible in a square profile. The ergonomic arrangement above the battery simplifies battery replacement.

Special racks for safe transport, storage and loading space

While our chargers are very robust, they should be securely placed. Our rack reliably protects the device during operation and transportation, as well as the charger and connection cables, with the very stable stackable frame of the rack, which is well-suited for demanding production environments or rental scenarios.
